Firm bottom cushions… June 18, 2025 Reviewer: T from Sunny Florida   Nice and firm comfortable bottom cushions, you do not sink into this. Soft back pillows, so we need extra pillows to have back supported. Frame is super sturdy, built well! Cushions repel water, at least a little, but definitely soak up the water if it rains before you get a cover. I had to squeeze out gallons( it seemed) before the time I received cover from amazon (a great one, that fit, by Kipiea) Overall: very well made, clean looking sofa, seems to not need much aftercare, except a rinse for frame with a hose once in awhile, and after you get a cover, maybe wash cushions once or twice  a year.
